Hello, friend! I'm Alyssa, pronounced uh-LYE-suh, your guide to finding the extraordinary within the ordinary of everyday life. 💖

Welcome to my corner of the internet, where we explore the art of living well through a tapestry of passions. I'm on a mission to share my love for all my favorite things. From mouthwatering recipes you can make in the comfort of your own home, indoor and outdoor gardening, wellness and skincare, and DIY projects to sharing my favorite spots in Nashville. 

A little bit about me, I moved to Nashville from San Diego in 2018. I am a huge advocate of taking care of your mental health, which is why I started this blog. Creating and writing has given me a therapeutic outlet to help keep my wellness in check. You'll definitely see my rescue dogs, Montie and Jetson, making their presence on my blog and socials. They are my entire world! You could say I'm a bit obsessed, but who isn't obsessed with their own pets? I've been a nurse for nearly a decade, started doing freelance marketing in 2023 after graduating with my MBA, and have big dreams to be an entrepreneur. 
A few fun facts: I'm a die-hard Swiftie, can quote all things How I Met Your Mother, and love binge watching all the reality TV.
